Biography &
Credentials
Randall H. Borkus MS, JD.
LL.M./Taxation
|
| |
- Randall practices law in Chicago and its suburbs in the areas of asset protection, estate planning, federal and state taxation.
|
-
Randall also advises tax-exempt organizations and foundations on board of director responsibilities and PTAX-300 filings in Cook County for property tax exemptions. A common misunderstanding is that charitable organizations are automatically qualified for property tax exemptions because they have a charter from the Secretary of State's office designating them as a not-for-profit corporation, or an exemption from federal taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Tax Code. Furthermore, there are ongoing compliance requirements that each charity must follow or be subject to losing exemption status.
|
-
Randall works closely with the professionals at his consulting firm Wealth Preservation Concepts, LLC on select projects. Wealth Preservation Concepts LLC is a national planning, design and implementation oversight firm that develops and oversees wealth preservation strategies for individuals and families of exceptional wealth.
Wealth Preservation Concepts, LLC is in the business of counseling advisors of ultra-high net worth individuals, business owners and entrepreneurs in asset protection, business succession, philanthropic and wealth transfer planning arenas. Such individuals include closely-held business owners, venture capitalists, investors, lawyers, doctors and former professional athletes.
